BC FIRE SMOKE MAP

These smoke forecasts are produced by the BlueSky Canada Smoke Forecasting System operating at the University of British Columbia. Their primary service is smoke forecasts from wildland fires using the BlueSky Canada system. This system produces forecasts of hourly ground-level concentrations of PM2.5 smoke particles from wildfires up to two days into the future. Find the forecast map HERE.

Forest fire smoke is a complex and dynamic mixture of gases and very small particles that can irritate the respiratory system and cause systemic inflammation. If you are feeling unwell, remember you can call 8-1-1 for free provincial health information. If a medical emergency please call 9-1-1.
